The Association of European Shipping Journalists is a professional interest group.

We work as freelancers or editors for newspapers or journals, and in agencies and press offices. We are active in equal measure in maritime, inland and coastal shipping, both for sporting and commercial purposes.

We have the following goals and objectives:

• the promotion of European integration
• the promotion of professional cooperation
